Wolf Hunting Closed in North Fork District Near Glacier Park

We reported this story earlier, but it doesn’t hurt to say it again… The Flathead Beacon reports that the hunting and trapping of all wolves in the North Fork Flathead River drainage west of Glacier National Park has ended, wildlife officials announced late last week. Two wolves were reported killed in Montana Wolf Management Unit 110, which includes portions of Lincoln and Flathead counties. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks closed the district to hunting Oct. 30. Read the full story here.
