Two Bear Air, Flathead sheriff rescue Oregon man

Some folks might remember Two Bear Air coming to the hall last summer for a presentation and demonstration. So we thought you might be interested in this story from KPAX that begins… Two Bear Air rescue and Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry came to the aide of an Oregon man over the weekend who fell off a ledge in a canyon near Helena. Rescuers say Sean Cleary, from Oregon, fell about eight feet in the Vigilante Gulch area and his brother Patrick called 9-1-1 for help. “Search and rescue was paged right away they responded they went there with snowmobiles, sleds but the terrain got so bad that [after] about a mile-and-half, they had to abandon all that and walk,” Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton said.
