This is from Bill Walker who got it from Margaret Heaphy… don’t you love the NF? This morning, Margaret Heaphy reported the road as very slick, with water running over ice. They had to chain up to get down Vance Hill and conditions are likely worse further north.
Greg Evans wrote… Lower section of road is ice. Be careful meeting frequent logging trucks. Deep sugar snow at edge of road resulted in at least two stuck vehicles yesterday.

Jim Rittenburg writes… Did 4am airport run this morning. More new snow in CF than in the NF. About 8″ in CF when I headed back to Polebridge at around 8:30am. NF road was already plowed and in good shape on the way back up.
