Sun Road — Weather may play big role in pass plans

The Daily Inter Lake reports that Glacier National Park’s often-used phrase, “weather permitting,” could come into play with Friday’s planned opening of the full length of Going-to-the-Sun Road over Logan Pass. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the east side of the park through the early morning hours of Friday, with heavy precipitation and even snow expected over the next couple days.  Read the full story here.
