Sun Road reopens to Logan Pass

The Hungry Horse News reports that Glacier National Park officials reopened the Going-to-the Sun Road to Logan Pass on the west side today, Sept. 27. The road was closed at Big Bend, about three miles below the pass, on Sept. 25-26 after high elevation snow shut down the road. Park spokeswoman Denise Germann said the Sun Road reopened about 10:30 a.m. She said Logan Pass had about three inches of slushy snow.  Read the full story here.
