Summer activities wind down at Glacier; fall adventures await

The Missoulian reports that now that all of Going-to-the-Sun Road has reopened following September’s snowstorms, it’s time for parts of it to close until next summer. The last day that Glacier National Park’s iconic highway can be driven in its entirety is Sunday. Here on the west side, Going-to-the-Sun will remain open to Logan Pass through Oct. 19, weather permitting.  Read the full story here.
