Snow closes Sun Road at Big Bend

The Hungry Horse News reports that Glacier National Park officials closed the Going-to-the-Sun Road on the west side at Big Bend today, Sept. 25, because of snow and debris left by an autumn storm that struck overnight. Park spokeswoman Jennifer Lutman said about half and inch of snow was on the road at Logan Pass, but there was also rock fall and other debris on the road and the weather wasn’t improving.  Read the full story here.
