The Flathead Beacon reports that a new National Park Service report shows visitors to national parks in Montana spent $478.3 million in the state in 2015. A total of 4.96 million people visited national parks in Montana last year. Last year’s total was a 10.6 percent increase in spending and an 8.2 percent rise in visitation over 2014.
