Pie and ice cream social a big success!

By | July 15, 2013

North Forkers had a great time at the Community Hall on Saturday night!  The first order of business was churning homemade ice cream and then eating it with an assortment of homemade pies.  Following the eating and socializing, there was a square dance with Debo Powers teaching the various moves and figures before each dance.  During a break, everyone watched Debo and Ed Neneman dance a waltz.  A short waltz lesson followed and the floor was crowded with folks learning to waltz.  Throughout the evening, there were two squares and the many young people in attendance added to the energy level and fun.

The next NFLA-sponsored dance at Sondreson Hall is the Sock Hop on Friday, Aug. 10th.  Check this and other NFLA activities out on their calendar here.
