NWS: Driest Summer on Record in Kalispell

The Flathead Beacon reports that the last three months of summer were the driest on record in Kalispell, according to preliminary data from the National Weather Service. Between June and August, Kalispell received 1.09 inches of rain, breaking the previous three-month record low of 1.40 inches in 1929.
