Market Day at McWernick’s Farm on Wednesday – Aug. 1

By | July 31, 2018

Here’s a message from Chris Heitz…

Good morning!  Just spoke to Jerry and things are going well on McWernick’s farm!

Fruit:  raspberries are all done, and the apricots and melons probably won’t be ripe enough, but definitely will be available in 2 weeks.
Greens:  plenty of salad greens – also green onions, chard, spinach, and kale
Other:  summer squash, cucumbers and broccoli    Green beans are done also.

If anyone has Zucchini, rhubarb, or huckleberries to sell or trade, we would LOVE to have them – Jerry wants to encourage anyone with surplus to feel free to bring it and join in.  Neither of us can figure out why, but our zucchini has been very sparse and slow this year – any ideas why???

Hope you will come to the gazebo…Wednesday at noon!
