The Hungry Horse News reports that last summer, Glacier National Park superintendent Jeff Mow was dealing with a record snowpack as Park crews struggled to get the Going-to-the-Sun Road open as snows fell until late June. This summer, the Park is at the other end of the spectrum, with record drought and large wildfires.
