Info sought in Flathead poaching cases

We’re including this story because we’ve noticed that North Forkers are especially good at spotting illegal hunting activity… State wildlife officials are looking for your help as they look into a series of recent animal poachings. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens are investigating a series of poaching incidents between Columbia Falls Stage Road and Montana Highway 206. Several deer and elk have recently been illegally killed in this area.  Anyone with information about the poaching incidents is asked to contact game wardens Chris Neu at (406) 250-9498 or Perry Brown at (406) 250-2097. Folks may also call 1-800-TIP-MONT or visit http://fwp.mt.gov/enforcement/tipmont/ and can remain anonymous.
