Snow douses wilderness fire

The Daily Inter Lake reports that the Elk Hill Fire on the eastern edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex was declared fully contained on Friday after 10 inches of snow fell in the area. The fire had spread quickly to 1,086 acres last weekend. It started April 8 near the North Fork of the Sun River. Read the full story here.
