The Hungry Horse News reports that the Park Service’s centennial year will likely be a good time to drive the full length of the Going-to-the-Sun Road as construction should be fairly light. The main work project will center around reconstruction and redesign of the east entrance of the road at St. Mary, said park spokeswoman Katie Liming. The plan is to redesign the entrance station to make it easier for traffic to flow into the park. There will also be a parking area just past the entrance to inspect boats and other watercraft for aquatic invasive species like zebra mussels. Read the full story here.
