Glacier National Park Breaks Attendance Record

The Flathead Beacon reports that it’s official: Glacier National Park has broken its record for most visitors in a single year. National Park Service spokesman Jeffrey Olson says that through Sept. 30, Glacier had welcomed about 2.23 million people in 2014. That’s almost 35,000 more than visited in the record-setting year of 1983, when just over 2.2 million visitors were counted. Read the full story here.
