Glacier hits new high for June visitation

The Daily Inter Lake reports that halfway through 2016, Glacier National Park is on track for a third straight year of record visitation after 429,909 people filed through its gates in June — setting a single-month record. The National Park Service estimate for June visitation is a 3.7 percent increase over the same month last year, which had shattered the previous record by 12 percent.
