FWP seeks information on grizzly bear shooting NW of Kalispell

The Missoulian reports that State wildlife officials are looking for information on the shooting death of a grizzly bear in the Star Meadows area northwest of Kalispell. Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials say an initial investigation last Thursday found the bear died of a gunshot wound. Anyone with any information is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT, or game warden Chris Crane 406-249-6231. Callers may remain anonymous and a reward may be available.
