FWP’s Montana Outdoors magazine has an article that begins… In three turbulent drops, whitewater slices through Spruce Park Canyon in the Great Bear Wilderness. At high water in late June, the upper Middle Fork of the Flathead River roars with savage hydraulics through lurking boulders burly enough to upend a rubber raft and send its paddlers flying.
