Climber identified

The climber that fell to his death on Tuesday has been identified as 21-year old Cesar Flores, Jr. from Davie, Florida. This was his first year working for park concessioner Glacier Park, Inc.  He was a cook at the Many Glacier Hotel.

According to the initial investigation and witness reports, it is believed that Flores lost his balance near the edge of a cliff and fell.  The incident continues to be under investigation by the National Park Service.  Read the full park announcement here.
