Events are heating up on the North Fork. Here is what’s coming up this week…

  • Family Forestry Expo – The Family Forestry Expo is an annual, weeklong event that offers hands-on exposure to the role forests play in our everyday lives.  This year the Family Forestry Expo is scheduled May 7th through May 12th, with the theme of “Forests-Landscapes of Many Uses.” For more information, see this post or please call 758-5218 or visit and
  • Glacier National Park’s Sperry Chalet, The Next Hundred Years environmental assessment (EA) and associated documents are available online at The EA will be available for public review for 20 days; comments are due on May 7, 2018.
  • Three Forks of the Flathead Wild & Scenic River Brown Bag Presentation – It’s spring and brown bag season is in full swing! Join us Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the West Glacier Community Building from noon to 1:00 p.m. to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act and learn about the events that took place in designating the Three Forks of the Flathead Wild & Scenic River.
  • Annual Hall Cleanup – Join your friends and neighbors on Sat. May 12th at 10 AM at Sondreson Hall for the annual hall cleanup. Please bring cleaning supplies and outdoor tools and help ready your hall for our summer activities. A light lunch will be served. Questions can be directed to Rachel Peura @
