In Larry’s Hungry Horse News column this week he talks about bears, how treacherous the road is, and provides some information on the Polebridge Mercantile.
Larry also says… I doubt that bears are killing the deer. I think these are animals wounded by careless hunters. I would hope every hunter would be really careful and avoid shooting at running deer or any deer that does not present a clear target that can be taken with one well-placed shot. We couldn’t agree more.
